Ukraine has accused Russia of using civilian aircraft to transport soldiers and weapons. Crews of An-124-100 and Il-76 MD transport aircraft “repeatedly transported troops, weapons and military equipment for the war against the Ukrainian people.”
Ukrainian military intelligence has released a list of pilots and other crew members.
The pilots have expressed their dismay on social media, complaining that if Russia were to lose, they could be prosecuted and punished for war crimes, the report said. Specifically, they are employees of the 224th flight detachment, which is stationed at Migalowo airport in Tver.
