A dispute between father and daughter escalated early in the morning in Gmunden (Upper Austria). The 27-year-old reached into the knife drawer and attacked her father and the police.
At around 5:45 a.m., the situation got out of hand: the 27-year-old threatened her father with murder in the shared apartment in Ohlsdorf. She yelled at him and allegedly threatened him with two kitchen knives. The 57-year-old father immediately left the apartment and called 911.
When officials arrived to clarify the matter, the 27-year-old suddenly attacked one of the police officers who intervened. She was subsequently arrested by order of the Wels public prosecutor’s office and transferred to the Wels prison. No one was injured during the official act.
