“Illegals” go home – Already the 3rd Skorpion travels from Linz to Croatia

Date:

The scorpion mother and her 17 babies, who crawled out of a suitcase in Natternbach in Upper Austria, will soon be going home to Croatia. Not the first home taker for such arachnids from the Linz animal shelter this year.

The holiday trip of the next Croatian traveler from the animal shelter in Linz is almost a business trip. He takes a scorpion and 17 young animals that a holidaymaker from Natternbach found in her suitcase at home.

This year is the third scorpion repatriation campaign to start the animal shelter in Linz, as the arachnids continue to enter “illegally”.

On vacation – with Scorpio in your luggage
A scorpion that traveled from Croatia to Upper Austria in September and ended up in the Linz animal shelter had to wait a while before someone set off on a journey south. And the spike wearer who crawled out of a suitcase in Linz at the end of June is already home – the next animal shelter employee was on holiday in Croatia in the meantime.

Customs is not in the way
And now Scorpio’s mother is waiting with her babies for the shift change. The animals are released back to their home country in areas where they feel comfortable. The “Krone” asked customs if there was anything to take into account when repatriating the “illegal immigrants” – at least from the customs side, nothing stands in the way of repatriation.
