On Monday afternoon, a 31-year-old woman crashed into a street lamp in the Swiss Bodensee municipality of Rorschach, just a few kilometers from the border with Vorarlberg. It turned out that the lady had 3.1 per mille alcohol in her blood.
A 31-year-old motorist drove her car on a side road from Rorschach to Thal (both canton of St. Gallen) shortly before 4 p.m. on Monday afternoon. Near the Wartensee plot, her car left the lane on the right, entered a green belt and then collided with a street lamp so hard that it was knocked over.
Fortunately, the driver was uninjured in the accident. An alcohol test carried out by the police of the canton of St. Gallen gave a result of 3.1 per mille. The 31-year-old’s driver’s license was seized at the scene. The material damage is the equivalent of almost 10,000 euros.
