A 56-year-old, for unknown reasons, ended up with his articulated vehicle in the oncoming lane in St. Ruprecht an der Raab (Styria) on Wednesday evening and rammed into the car of a 43-year-old. The driver of the car suffered injuries of unknown nature.
On Wednesday evening, the 56-year-old from Styria was driving his truck on the B64 (Rechberg Straße) from Weiz in the direction of Gleisdorf when suddenly the rear of the vehicle swerved to the right.
The truck driver then came into the oncoming lane, where he hit an oncoming vehicle driven by the 43-year-old Ukrainian citizen. The car then left the lane and slid into an adjacent field, where it came to rest on its side.
The 43-year-old was injured to an unknown extent, his passenger (36) was uninjured. The slightly injured truck driver refused medical treatment at the hospital.
