Sagittarius Just 15 Years Old – Gunshots in Alaska: Four Dead Siblings

Date:

In the US state of Alaska, a 15-year-old allegedly shot three of his six siblings. He then turned the gun on himself, a police spokesman said. The parents were out of the house at the time of the crime.

Because shots were fired there, officers were called to a home in the American city of Fairbanks on Tuesday. There they discovered the bodies of four siblings between the ages of five and seventeen. A 15-year-old allegedly killed his three siblings and then himself, local media quoted a police spokesperson as saying. Three other siblings in the house were unharmed.

The background of the bloody act is still unclear. The parents were not at home at the time of the crime.

Firearms are the leading cause of death among young people
In the United States, firearms incidents before traffic accidents are the leading cause of death for youth 19 and under. More than 4,300 children and young people died from firearms in 2020, University of Michigan researchers report in the “New England Journal of Medicine.” In total, more than 50 people a day were shot and killed two years ago, according to the US health authority CDC.
