Nehammer wants to address Holocaust statements
Nehammer had said Wednesday after the Summer Council of Ministers that he would hold Orbán to account for his statements. “Anyone who knows me knows that I don’t shy away from direct conversations. Everything that has to do with trivialization is unacceptable to us,” said the chancellor. For him there is therefore no “doubt that the statements are of course to be criticized”. Austria bears a special responsibility here, the chancellor also pointed out initiatives against anti-Semitism at home and visits to memorial sites.
