The supplier Gittis Naturprodukte GmbH and Hofer KG have recalled the product “Back to the Origin” organic rice porridge 250 g with the best before date September 16, 2023. As the companies announced on Thursday, individual packs were filled with the allergen-containing “Back to the Origin” organic rice. – banana milk porridge.
The milk protein allergen is not stated on these packaging. Consumption of the “Back to the Origin” organic rice-banana milk porridge is not suitable for people who are allergic to milk protein. The product was available in all Austrian Hofer KG locations. The sale was immediately stopped, it said.
The rice porridge can be returned to all branches of the supermarket chain. Customers get a refund of the purchase price, even without proof of purchase.
