In the area of the Volksgarten in Graz, an unknown Thursday fatally wounded a man with a knife in the stomach area. The men got into an argument at a snack bar that evening, after which the 31-year-old victim was stabbed by his opponent.
The assailant fled on foot, but a search has so far been unsuccessful, police said. Paramedics attended to the Belarusian on the spot and took him to the state hospital in Graz, where he underwent emergency surgery. He has not yet been questioned about the incident.
