The doctor who has received death threats from anti-vaccination groups in recent months was found dead in her practice on Friday morning.
The GP Lisa-Maria K. was found dead in her practice in Seewalchen am Attersee on Friday morning, the “Krone” rumors were confirmed. According to the public prosecutor in Wels, guilt to third parties is excluded and no autopsy has been ordered.
Practice closed since the end of June
On Thursday, the doctor, who has reportedly received death threats by email from vaccine opponents at irregular intervals for months, updated her homepage: “From the current perspective, I cannot provide information on whether, when and how operations can normally resume. ”
“Patients who wish to do so can request their findings from 16 August. Ideally, you bring us a USB stick on which we can keep the documents,” says the doctor on her website. At the end of June, she had “closed her practice in Seewalchen am Attersee until further notice”. Now the practice will probably remain closed for good.
