The police speak of an attempted murder that would have taken place on Friday evening in the Innsbruck district of Hötting. An Afghan (23) is suspected of inflicting multiple stab wounds on his Austrian girlfriend (24) with a kitchen knife. At first, the young man wanted to tell investigators that it was an accident.
At about 6 pm, the rescue service was called to a residential building in Innsbruck-Hötting. A 24-year-old fell on her shoulder on a knife, it said. But it soon became clear that the injuries had to be for another reason.
