Teens come to the park-and-ride facility in Bruckneudorf in Burgenland almost every night. There they step on the gas. This time it went wrong.
A resident describes it very clearly via social media: “Möööö, Möööö, Qiii, Mööö, Qiiii yes, those are the sounds you often hear at night when you live on Kiralystrasse and Heizhausgasse”, he begins his post and the car engine and the squealing tires can be heard.
Meeting point for young people
Because the facility in Bruckneudorf has become a meeting place for teenagers who want to try out their car.
“Some young Audi, BMW, VW or Mercedes drivers think the P&R facility at Bruck train station is called Power&Racing Facility instead of Park&Ride,” says the noisy Bruckneudorfer. The parking lot is about 90 meters long.
Typical race track
On this track, you accelerate, brake before there is about 100 feet of room for the turn and then the game starts again.
This week, however, things went wrong. Two guys rushed across the parking lot when the driver probably overestimated his skills and underestimated the turn.
BMW is junk
The car then ended up on the roof about four meters under the system. The youngsters were lucky and escaped unscathed. But your BMW is only worth scrap.
