A 35-year-old had a nightmare at a posh hairdresser in Vienna. The hair was completely ruined by a wrong dyeing technique.
Instead of having a dream haircut, Tanja K. left a chic hairdresser in the 1st arrondissement with damaged hair. Cost point: 266 euros. But up front.
“I mainly went to Vienna”
“I drove specifically from St. Pölten to Vienna in the city center,” she tells the “Krone”. The plan: the balayage look. This is a special painting technique that enables a particularly natural look. “I personally told the boss what I wanted and showed him two sample photos,” says K. And the procedure began. “When it was done, I thought I was going to have a heart attack. I had a lot of thick locks,” says the 35-year-old. Yet she paid 266 euros and left. But the anger was too great.
Second visit made it worse
She went back to the salon and got the opportunity to have a colleague do her hair. But this time it got even worse. “My scalp burned when I dyed, I got pimples.” The hair looked even worse.
Improper coloring technique
“I went to a hairdresser in St. Pölten hoping she could save something. But she couldn’t do anything either. My hair was completely ruined by the wrong coloring technique,” says K. So she demanded her money back. But the noble barber wouldn’t hear of it and hung up. It will probably be a long time before K’s hair is healthy again.
