Sandra O. is 42 years old today. The Lower Austrian loved her job as a prison guard in the high-security Krems-Stein prison. But when she one day – as reported – stood in front of Sufjan A. – a prisoner convicted of theft – it was over for her and all professional ethics were thrown overboard.
Cellmate saw secret relationship
“We were magically attracted to each other from the moment we first met,” the then 32-year-old enthused in the “Krone” interview. They met when he went out, spent time in intimate togetherness, fathered a child. Of course the ‘secret love behind bars’ came to light at some point after a cellmate of Sufjan A. got wind of it. Even Sandra O’s “criminal action” (she was apparently instigated, convicted of smuggling seven smartphones in iced tea packs for $1400) did nothing to silence him.
