She was just about to water flowers when a pensioner (84) from Guttaring in Carinthia was attacked by a mother cow.
The incident happened Wednesday morning: The 84-year-old pensioner stood in front of her home in Guttaring and watered her flowers. A mother cow suddenly broke out of the pasture right next to the house and secured with an electric fence and attacked the woman!
The retired man’s son managed to chase the animal away from his mother. Despite this, the woman sustained injuries. After emergency first aid she had to be flown to UKH Klagenfurt in the C11 rescue helicopter. Neighbors and the responsible farmer then drove the cow back to the pasture. It is not clear why the animal attacked the woman.
