Terrible bloody act in the Innviertel (Upper Austria): A couple got into a violent fight on Tuesday evening. The woman is said to have eventually grabbed a knife and rammed it into her husband’s neck.
Shortly before 11 p.m. on Tuesday, there was a violent quarrel between the spouses from St. Florian am Inn. This escalated completely when the 31-year-old woman allegedly stabbed her 40-year-old husband with a knife, seriously injuring his neck.
Daughter called the rescue
The 13-year-old daughter, who heard the argument, alerted emergency services after noticing her injured father in the living area. When the police arrived, the woman gave first aid. The knife was secured and the woman was arrested.

When questioned at Schärding police station, the suspect made a full confession. The rescue took the man to the Passau clinic, where he underwent emergency surgery that night. The exact background of the crime is still being determined.
