In the same week that the indicator measuring the manufacturing sector has turned negative, the industrial production index continues to show positive figures in June.
As confirmed by the National Statistical Institute (INE), industrial production in the Basque Autonomous Community has increased significantly, while in Navarra this growth has been more modest and business confidence has fallen.
In the case of the Basque Autonomous Community, the INE has calculated a growth of 12.2%, two points higher than the growth that EUSTAT had expected two days ago.
In Navarra, industrial production increased 0.8% compared to June last year, making it one of the lowest figures in the state. On the other hand, the cumulative growth since the beginning of the year is 4.7% in the Comunidad Foral. With this, NASTAT also released another important piece of information: Business confidence levels fell in June.
The figures are also positive at the state level: industrial production rose 6.4% in June compared to the same month last year.
