Terrible accident on Friday evening in Kitzbühel (Tyrol)! A 40-year-old Amsterdammer collided with a traffic sign and suffered serious injuries. Despite attempts at CPR, the man died at the scene of the accident.
At about 12:30 p.m., the motorcyclist was on his motorcycle on the Pass Thurn road towards Aurach. For reasons unknown, he left the lane on a slight left turn and crashed into a signpost resting on two metal supports.

The man suffered serious head and leg injuries. A taxi driver immediately gave first aid and made an emergency call. “Despite immediate CPR and emergency medical assistance, the victim succumbed to his serious injuries at the scene of the accident,” police said.
