A South-Eastern Styria went on a crazy trip near Mureck on Friday night: he raced through a local area at 125 km/h – and overtook a civilian patrol. In an 80 limit, the radar measurement even indicated 143 km/h! The lead foot’s excuse: “I was late.”
The officials of a civilian patrol on Friday evening in Misselsdorf (Southeast Styria district) were astonished: around 10:30 pm they were overtaken in the area at much too high speed. The officers gave chase and measured a top speed of 125 km/h, at a limit of 80 km/h the speed demon even drove 143 km/h.
Behind the wheel was a 26-year-old Southeast Styria. During his crazy ride, the officials found 15 violations. The man is shown. According to the police, he justified his rage by being late.
