In Austria, 5953 new corona infections have been reported in the past 24 hours (from 9.30 am on Saturday), a week ago there were 6587 new cases. 17 other people infected with the virus died. However, the use of the hospitals remained unchanged.
So far there are 4,782,740 positive test results in Austria. At 8.30 am, 19,194 people with SARS-CoV-2 infection had died across Austria, and 4,678,166 people had recovered. There are currently 1461 patients in hospital treatment. 73 of them are being cared for in intensive care.
