On Tuesday (from 9.30 am), 5,675 new corona infections were reported. 15 other people infected with the virus died. In hospitals, 96 fewer patients need to be cared for, four of which are in intensive care.
So far there are 4,796,689 positive test results in Austria. By Tuesday morning, 19,215 people with SARS-CoV-2 infection had died across Austria and 4,698,570 had recovered. There are currently 1,383 people infected with the coronavirus in hospital treatment. 77 of them are being cared for in intensive care.
