The retro wave does not abate: TV judge Barbara Salesch returns to the TV screen. “Barbara Salesch – Het Strafhof” will be screened from 5 September on weekdays at 11 am, RTL announced.
With her show “Richterin Barbara Salesch” in the late 1990s, Salesch co-founded the great rise of court shows on German television – at the time it was still competing with Sat.1. The last episode aired in 2012.
“Modern proof”, like chats
According to RTL, stories based on true events should be told in front of the Salesch judge’s office. “Modern evidence” such as smartphone videos, voice messages and chat histories also played an important role. Entertainment is offered, as well as a moral compass.
Ulrich Wetzel (65), known from the RTL court show “The Criminal Court” (2002-2008), should also have his own show. This is shown after Barbara Salesch.
