Parents often can no longer cope with the parenting tasks and waste their nerves. In the worst case, this excessive demand can lead to violence against one’s own children.
“I was terribly overwhelmed!” So many perpetrators want to apologize after killing their babies or children. For example, a Chechen woman (31) tried very perfidly to wipe out her entire family, her husband and four children with an arson attack: in the summer of the previous year, she spilled petrol in a house in Villach and got it going. But her husband saved all the children – 14 years in prison for the 31-year-old!
In Klagenfurt, on the other hand, in 2019 an overwhelmed father of three shook a twin baby to death because it screamed so loud and for so long: murder!
And last summer, an 11-week-old girl in Vienna also died of trembling trauma. Although the mother, 23, protested in tears: “I kissed her coffin”, she was sentenced to 14 years in prison for not doing so. Her husband, 32 – reportedly threw his nerves and killed the baby because of “impulsive breakthroughs” – has now been behind bars for 17 years.
Also in Vienna, a father (26) was sentenced to four and a half years for child abuse resulting in death. He had tortured his daughter (2) with a hot “punitive shower”.
