Burnout, bankruptcy, divorce and a diagnosed anxiety disorder: a 41-year-old man now had to answer to the regional court of St. Pölten for dangerous threats and defiance of state authority. The trained shooter was sentenced to 18 months in prison.
Personal problems, coupled with a toxic mix of medication and alcohol, blew the fuses of a 41-year-old from the Krems neighborhood: burnout, personal bankruptcy, divorce, anxiety disorder. After a visit to “La Boom” in St. Pölten in mid-June, he ended up in hospital after a fight. But after seven stitches, the trained marksman went back to the disco.
“Get a Scare”
In the parking lot, he took a bow and arrow from his car and aimed it at the guards in front of the entrance. And spread fear and terror among the party people present.
The suspect is mentally unstable
He presented himself as a man with two faces during the trial in the regional court of St. Pölten. “Are you all here because of me?” he asks with a smile. He follows the process clearly and calmly. Because the 41-year-old already has a criminal record, the judge has sentenced him to prison and psychotherapy.
