On Saturday at 5.15 am, police officers were sent to the old town of Linz because there was a motionless person on the ground. A group of people could be found in front of the restaurant. One of them had an injury. The victim, a 31-year-old from Leonding, said that when he was smoking in front of the bar with friends, an unknown assailant attacked him with a glass bottle for no reason.
The victim was taken to the UKH Linz with the rescue. During the immediate search, the suspect, a 28-year-old from Linz, was found and stopped by the Landhaus 2 patrol on Taubenmarkt at the tram stop.
