The Tyrolean police pulled a tractor out of traffic on the Brenner motorway on Tuesday. The Pakistani man had seven illegal refugees on board his car, including five children.
The seizure took place in the morning. The Pakistani (21) was driving his vehicle north from Italy on the Brenner Autobahn. He was checked by the police at the main toll station in Schoenberg. It soon became clear that the man had illegal passengers on board.
Wanted to take her to Austria
Seven other Pakistani nationals were still in the car, including five children aged two to nine. They had no travel documents with them. The police assume that the driver wanted to bring the seven people to Austria illegally and received compensation of several thousand euros for this.
