He warns that “the days when (Israel) could invade Lebanon with a fanfare are over.” Nasrallah has also rejected the Israeli claim that there have been indiscriminate attacks on civilians, explaining that the targets were military installations.
The general secretary of the Lebanese party militia Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, has assured that the objective of the projectile attack launched on Israel on Sunday “has been achieved” and has instead denied the Israeli version of events about the destruction of hundreds of shuttles on Lebanese soil.
“The Israeli narrative of what happened is full of lies, which reflects the weakness of this entity (…). The goal of the operation has been achieved, and more,” Nasrallah said in a televised speech.
Thus, he stressed that “none of the platforms that took part in the launch of the projectiles were hit before the operation and only two platforms after the operation.” “What the enemy bombed were valleys that were empty or evacuated,” he stressed.
The Hezbollah leader has given details about the number of projectiles launched. “We wanted to launch 300 projectiles, but we launched 340,” including Katyusha rocketshe assured, explaining that no strategic missiles had been used, “but it is possible that we will use them in the future and in the near future.”
The main purpose of the Katiusha rockets was to confuse the Iron Dome system, while the drones launched later reached their targets. “Our data indicates that several drones hit these two targets (the Aman intelligence base and the Unit 8200 base), but the enemy remains silent as usual,” he stressed.
Nasrallah has also rejected the Israeli claim that there have been indiscriminate attacks on civilians, explaining that the targets were military installations linked to last month’s attack in which Hezbollah commander Fuad Sukr was killed in an Israeli-attributed airstrike in the country’s capital, Beirut.
