Ferrero Ibérica has announced that it has voluntarily and cautiously ordered the removal of some batches of Kinder products made in Belgium from the Spanish market after some cases of Salmonella were reported in northern Europe, Europa Press reported.
The parties thus removed from the market are the Kinder Surprise Egg Cup Six Christmas Editions, packed with Christmas pictures, expiring on 04/20/2022, Kinder Schokobons (all formats), Kinder Surprise Maxi. And Kinder Happy Moments, everything has an expiration date of 05/26/2022 to 08/21/2022.
The multinational company has specified that any format Kinder Surprise eggs, Kinder Big Surprise, like all other Kinder brands will not be affected by the export.
Ferrero Iberica has decided to voluntarily withdraw some batches of these products from the Spanish market as a precaution, although none of Kinder’s product tests have identified Salmonella.
The firm works with local health authorities to deliver products as quickly as possible. Thus, he is in contact with the institutions where the affected products are sold in order to continue their immediate removal.
