For the 3,000 employees of the Salzburg Raiffeisen banks and warehouses, the working week could soon be only four days instead of five. The changes are expected to be implemented in April next year.
The four-day working week is offered to all employees, including managers. The aim is to get better opportunities on the labor market to attract new employees.
The salary is adjusted
The four-day working week would reduce working hours from 38.5 to 36. However, there should not be full wage compensation. The salary would be reduced by just over six percent.
The home working rules must also continue to apply. Raiffeisen employees are allowed to work from home twice a week. Nothing should change for customers even with the new employee rules.
