Entrepreneur Hallmann buys real estate from Leiner for 42 million euros

Date:

The investor and entrepreneur Klemens Hallmann is said to have purchased three Kika/Leiner properties from the Signa group. Kika/Leiner must remain a tenant of the homes. The fact that Signa wants to sell individual locations was already rumored in November.

René Benko is apparently busy making money with real estate. According to “Gewinn”, he sold three Leiner / Kika houses in Vienna (Sandleitengasse in Ottakring), Linz and Wels for 42 million euros to the companies of Klemens Hallmann. In the fall, the furniture chain denied it was planning to close any stores (there are currently 42). Director of the furniture store chain, Reinhold Güterbier, emphasized that all 42 furniture stores will continue to exist. At that time there were four to fifteen locations on the market in Austria.

Hallmann-Holding already has branches
Leiner/Kika, however, remain tenants in the homes that have since been sold, the report said. Furniture sales continue. In addition, three former Leiner locations were also transferred to Hallmann Holding or its subsidiary Süba (a construction company). These include the former Leiner headquarters on St. Pöltner Rathausplatz, the former Leiner in the center of Wiener Neustadt, and the closed Kika branch in Vösendorf on Vienna’s city limits.

Klemens Hallmann is a successful entrepreneur in both the construction and film industries. So far he has only bought branches that were already closed, which are now used for new purposes.
