Applications can be submitted between February 15 and March 31, for families with an income of up to €27,000 per year
The Ministry of Finance has activated the website of the Tax Office to request the new check of 200 euros for vulnerable families that the government approved in its latest package of measures to deal with the economic and social consequences of the war in Ukraine.
Potential beneficiaries of the new aid have one and a half months to apply, i.e. between 15 February and 31 March. The support is aimed at incomes of less than 27,000 euros per year and assets of a maximum of 75,000 euros.
In addition, this calculation of income and equity is performed on December 31. In the case of marriage or registered partnership, this is the joint calculation, as well as that of minors and ascendants living in the same household. To be a beneficiary, you must also have your habitual residence in Spain on December 31.
However, this check is not accessible to those who receive the minimum vital income or to those who receive pensions paid by the general scheme and the special social security schemes or by the passive class scheme of the state.
Nor are those who receive benefits similar to those recognized for professionals who are not included in the Special Social Security Scheme for the Self-Employed or Self-Employed by the mutualities that act as an alternative to the above-mentioned special Social Security System.
Similarly, individual beneficiaries are excluded from the right to this support, regardless of the equity valuation, if during 2022 they were legal administrators of a trading company that had not ceased its activities by December 31, 2022 , or were holders of securities representing the equity participation of a trading company and which are not traded on organized markets.
The form on the electronic headquarters of the Tax Office must necessarily contain the bank account of the holder of the application in which the payment must be made, since it will be received 200 euros by bank transfer in one go.
The Royal Decree, published in the Government Gazette (BOE), also stipulates that in the event that the application is rejected, the applicant will be notified of a proposal for a refusal decision, stating the details. the reasons for the refusal in the electronic office of the Tax and Customs Administration.
Subsequently, the applicant has a period of 10 days, counting from the day following the notification of the proposal for refusal, to present and present the documents and supporting documents that it deems relevant.
As explained by the Executive, after a period of one month, counting from the day following the notification of the aforementioned proposal, without submission of any allegations, documents or evidence, the procedure will end under the terms of the proposal for refusal, without the need for an express resolution from the administration. And after the period of three months from the end of the deadline for submitting the application without making the payment or communicating a proposal for a refusal decision, the application may be considered rejected.
