The domestic internet platform Studyly already offers its learning resources with examples and exercises based on the official textbooks throughout Austria. ‘Krone’ readers can even enter for free until mid-March.
Many are now about to graduate from high school and still need intensive help for their final school work or for their mathematics entrance exams. The local provider Studyly supports this with live coaching via the internet. It is even free for ‘Krone’ readers until mid-March (info: www.studyly.com/code). Topics relevant to the Matura are covered and specific tasks are calculated together. Founder Leon Frischauf: “We want to guarantee personalized preparation.” The normal price is €75 per month – “no less than two hours of tutoring”.
As a student, Frischauf came up with an online platform for the fun of mathematics. More than 50,000 students across Austria now use Studyly, twice as many as the year before. The learning tasks correspond exactly to the real exam questions according to the syllabus. There are also programs for young people aged 10 and over or for those who have completed compulsory education. In a second track (“studyly school”), 500 teachers throughout Austria already use Studyly as learning support for their lessons.
