Three months ago, Lisa-Maria Reisinger called on her customers in a tearful video to buy out the warehouse of her femitale GmbH and thus turn things around. Three months later, the entrepreneur now announces that her company, specialized in products for menstrual problems, is going bankrupt.
Some hide, others show how strong they are, even in the dark hours of entrepreneurship, by expressing their feelings and thoughts.
“We have to stop”
In a video on social media in mid-January, Lisa-Maria Reisinger made a dramatic appeal for help aimed at saving the femitale GmbH she founded by emptying the warehouse of the company from St. Florian near Linz, which specializes in products for menstrual problems. Three months later, the Engelhartszell resident was back in front of the camera. More calm than she was then, she informed her companions on Thursday: “Unfortunately, the time has come, we have to stop, we are calling it quits.”
Attempts were made to reach an amicable settlement with all creditors. “But we didn’t succeed,” Reisinger said. And further: “The final step must be taken now. And that is filing for bankruptcy.”
‘I’ve cried enough now’
The latest big sale started at 10am on Friday at www.femitale.com – all products are on offer at minus 60 percent. “My dying wish would be that these amazing products don’t just sit there gathering dust in the warehouse, but also have the opportunity to make the world a better place for someone else,” said Reisinger, who concluded, “I’ve cried enough now. “
