The PSOE will approve its lists for the European elections next Tuesday, which will likely be led by the third vice-president, Teresa Ribera.
The Acting Minister of Labor and Employment of the Basque Government, Idoia Mendiapresented his resignation on Friday to take part in the European elections to be held on June 9.
As EiTB Media has been able to confirm, Idoia Mendia communicated her decision to the acting Lehendakari, Iñigo Urkullu, during a meeting this morning.
Because there is an incompatibility of positions, she will be fired next Tuesday.
The PSOE has postponed until Tuesday the meeting of the Federal List Committee, which will approve the party’s candidacy for the European elections on June 9. This meeting is expected to be chaired by the third vice-president of the Spanish government, Teresa Ribera.
