Viennese caterer Do&Co grew in the first quarter of 2024/25. With a turnover of 551.47 million euros compared to 400.88 million euros last year, the company recorded the highest turnover quarter in the company’s history.
In the airline catering sector alone, turnover rose by 125.05 to 419.58 million euros. There was an increase in operating profit (EBIT) across the group from 28.7 to 36.57 million euros.
Net cash flow decreased
The consolidated result rose from 15.45 to 18.60 million euros. However, net cash flow fell sharply and fell from 21.73 to 12.69 million euros. Free cash flow fell from plus 10.91 to minus 5.82 million euros. The average number of employees (full-time equivalent) rose by approximately 500 to 14,888 (31 March 2024: 13,346 employees).
As for the outlook, Do&Co said on Thursday that it remains very positive for travel and tourism, with airlines expecting good utilisation and even partial increases in existing frequencies.
