According to a media report, the American aerospace company SpaceX has kicked out employees for their criticism of corporate boss Elon Musk. They had accused Musk in an open letter of “shameful” behavior in public appearances.
Employees who wrote the open letter to the tech billionaire and helped distribute it have been fired, the New York Times reported Friday, citing three people familiar with the case. It is not clear how many people are involved.
Boss Sayings “Distraction and Embarrassment”
The internal letter called Musk, who is known for his controversial statements, a “distraction and embarrassment”. The employees demanded that SpaceX distance itself from Musk.
Musk continues to make headlines
Most recently, the 50-year-old made headlines with his criticism of the home office and dismissal of sexual harassment allegations. The latter had caused a lot of unrest at SpaceX internally.
Musk is considered the richest person in the world with a wealth of more than 260 billion dollars (250 billion euros). The busy businessman not only runs Tesla, SpaceX and Neuralink, but now also wants to take over Twitter for $44 billion.
