The co-owner and long-time boss of the Strabag construction group, Hans Peter Haselsteiner, is once again the general representative of the construction group and therefore once again assists the board as an advisor.
As Strabag announced on Monday, the board of directors granted him the power of attorney with the approval of the supervisory board. Haselsteiner already held this position until his son Klemens Haselsteiner took over the management of the company in 2020.
The broadcast stated that succession considerations had already begun after the unexpected death of his son in mid-January. Until a decision is made, the other board members have adopted his agenda.
It is said that the transformation process initiated by Klemens Haselsteiner will continue. The Haselsteiner Family Private Foundation currently owns 30.7 percent of the shares in Strabag.
