The Hotelgesellschaft KS Betriebs GmbH by St. Kanzian (Carinthia) is Insolvent. The former FPö politician Heinz Anton Marolt is the owner and director. The over -indebetness is 1.67 million euros.
Labels of 2.3 million euros are compared with assets of 630,000 euros. There are currently no employees, in the 2024 season there were around 80. Now there was a renovation plan with a quota of 30 percent that should be paid within 18 months, said the Credit Protection Association (KSV).
The bankruptcy of the company of St. Kanzian on Lake Klopein is justified, among other things, with massive price increases in energy and food, as well as high personnel costs, which do not kiss through higher room prices. The lease returns would also have increased. In the 2023 season there were storm and flooding events that would have led to a decrease in sale.
The owner Marolt is an ex-FPö politician and father of the former Jungle Camp- and Germany’s next top model participant Larissa Marolt. From 1998 to 1999 he was the FPö Tourism spokesperson for the National Council. He also ran for the “The Independent” list of Richard Lugner in the elections of the National Council of 1999.
