An employee of the evacuation teams took a seat at the information switch and short queues are constantly being formed: two weeks after the closure of the KiKa in Linz-Ufahr there was again on Thursday. Reason: The last remains of the furniture store were picked up after the auction. If the pieces are particularly popular, read here.
“Thank you for your loyalty”, you can read about the piece of paper, which is still hanging in the shop window and refers to the last closure at the end of January. “Somehow you can’t believe that such a brand you know forever disappear,” says Norbert Lehner.
The director of Lenox-Trading is responsible for the evacuation of the 17 KiKa/Leiner stores, the head office and the camp in St. Pölten together with online auction specialist Aurena.at.
Everything must be deleted at the end of February
There is not much time to use the last remains of the furniture store, which is put in the bankruptcy. At the end of January it was a curfew, everything must have disappeared at the end of February. “We currently have pick -up in two houses at the same time,” says Lehner.
From the van to the glass showcase with plants to television-the KiKa location in Linz-Orfahr was split into 422 messages. On 10 February the virtual hammer fell at the online auction, three days later the auctioned pieces were collected. Tractors with supporters, mini transporters and even a saddle tractor parked on the now orphans parking places, with which the sometimes heavy and extensive freight was removed.
The interest in the pieces is great, Lehner reports. Nevertheless, post -seconds will take place at individual locations. “Because no buyer the first time we were or we had forgotten to come up with something”
Equipment for hotels and garden
With whom the remains of KiKa/Leiner are especially popular? “It is very different,” says Lehner, “Private individuals are increasing both and companies – small and large”. At the “Krone” local inspection we met David Wahlmüller of the hotel Wahlmüller of Satlert, who picked up television and ladders. “The auction was a cheap variant of getting TV,” he revealed. Karl Beck van Kemaaten on the YBBS provided a KiKa letters that he wants to collect in his garden. A stack of books about a transport player watched: “Often the flea market drivers, which they then resell,” says Lehner.
Location in Ansfelden will be under the hammer on 19 February
Have the Lenox trading and Aurena. For employees, employees already have an overview of all areas to be deleted and know how many pieces fall under the hammer? Lehner nods: “We will land in total at around 30,000 to 35,000 positions.” On Wednesday, February 19, the KIKA location in Ansfelden will be divided under the hammer into three auctions with a total of 1336 positions. Commercial vehicles include gardening and living room furniture, printers and freight boards.
