René Benko’s mother Ingeborg, 74, is a retired kindergarten teacher as a co -tier and the most important proponent of these two foundations.

The “Mama” folder
According to the “Krone” search, the criminalists made a remarkable find: forensicists came across a folder with the name: “Mama” when I searched the laptop of the Benko sister. This includes: an almost dozen “signatures”. The current interim report says that in the course of the house search “countless empty signatures were guaranteed by Ingeborg Benko”. “The signatures were shown separately on A4 pages.”

Moreover, the researchers literally determine: “The signatures differ from each other in a further look. Because of the current study, it cannot be seen in what purpose the blank signatures have been made and stored in the folder. The officials cannot exclude that these signatures were partially inserted in the documents that must be signed.” For precise clarification, it would therefore require further research steps.

Since the billions of bills, Bankrotteur René Benko has claimed more than a year ago that he personally has no significant ownership in Austria or relevant participations in Austria. In fact, years ago, the financial juggler transferred millions of values ​​to the foundations in Austria and Liechtenstein. The companion of these maneuvers was Benko’s mother Ingeborg, in which mass managers want to recognize a kind of “stromam”. The central questions are: how are the many millions from the nested Signa Group built in the privacy of the family? And how did René Benko benefit from it?

Millions

According to the careful Benko lawyer, this would result in disclosures for banks and finances.

Despite its central role in the base, Ingeborg Benko is considered a kind of phantom. They could hardly see even close confidants of their son, although there were repeated signatures because of the legal functions. Karin Fuhrmann, TPA tax adviser and chairman of the CEO of the Benko Private Foundation family, said in a interrogation in March 2025: “I saw Ingeborg Benko only once in my life.”

“No session”
When he was asked to what extent the mother of Benko was involved in decisions of the private foundation, the confidant of René Benko said: “Ingeborg Benko appeared in my perception insofar as she had the founder rights and was responsible for orders and extensions of the members of the entry council.” Fuhrmann, however, does not want to recognize any further function: “I have not observed any active role on your side. It was not there at any session I was ever present.”

On request, Ingeborg Benko’s lawyer said that he was not aware of the empty signatures. He emphasizes: his client is not a suspect in the criminal proceedings. The legal representative of the sister of Rene Benko left an unanswered investigation.

It was said of René Benko’s lawyers that Benko’s sister had always caused all the mother’s interests – the possible use of this signature was “only used in individual cases and always only after the express permission of the mother”. “Mr Benko does not even know if and how often this was used.”
