The employees of Glock Ecotech GmbH and Glock Technology GmbH, who are active in the energy area, are influenced. The workforce was informed about this on Tuesday, the company announced in a broadcast. The widow of the Waffen Tycoons Gaston Glock, Kathrin Glock, only released the management of the Glock Ecotech in March.
The decision to withdraw from the energy sector was “after careful economic research into the background of the volatile framework conditions in the special machine building of biomass -based energy systems,” said it in the broadcast.
After completing the current projects, a service team is still available to the customer. The heat supply of existing district heating customers is still protected.
