It was an office that Stefan Pierer paid a lot of attention and that he was almost a few days after the bankruptcy of the KTM: the role of the President of the Upper Austria Industrial Association. On Tuesday afternoon the course was set out in the course of a board meeting, which was the successor of the elections. It is the star boss Thomas Bründl.
When it was known that KTM AG and two other companies from the motorcycle manufacturer had to make bankruptcy applications, the Advent Reception of the Upper Austria Industrial Association had already taken place without Stefan Pierer. A week after the opening of the renovation procedures, it became known: he will no longer actively perform the position of the president of industrial representation, his representatives and public performances.
A new board will be chosen on 17 June as part of the ordinary general meeting. Who wants to take over Stefan Pierer’s successor? The course was determined at the board meeting on Tuesday afternoon. The election proposal looks like this: Thomas Bründl (58), director of Starlim Spritzguss GmbH, runs as president. The head of the silicone processor had taken over the performance of the stage in January at the Oberbank Business Gala instead of Stefan Pierer.
Voestalpine CEO Herbert Eibensteiner, Fronius director Elisabeth Engelbrechtsssmüller-Strauß and Miba owner F. Peter Mitterbauer of the elections are vice-president.
The new presidency will be chosen for the period 2025 to 2028. A mandate for a fourth vice president is still free, but a candidate can be found until the election on 17 June. All officials of the Industrial Association work exclusively on a voluntary basis.
