The worst nightmare was probably true for an 88-year-old in her house in Pressbaum (Lower Austria). In the middle of the night she surprised a burglar who immediately dragged the pensioner to her bedroom. But the perpetrator fled because the woman pressed the emergency button on the wrist.
It is known that an emergency call can save lives on the wrist. An 88-year-old from Pressbaum in the Wienerwald (Lower Austria) has impressively demonstrated that she can also dispel a burglar.
The woman was torn out of sleep on Monday evening because she had heard a loud sound from the bathroom. When the retired person followed him, she did not believe her eyes: a stranger had come over the window in the bathroom and just climbed the washing machine.
Cash required
The caught man immediately went into the counter and pushed the woman into the bedroom. There he demanded cash with a foreign accent. But the brave 88-year-old did not want to go out. So she can’t call, the criminal tore her cell phone out of her hand. Before he was able to look for valuable, he had to see how the senior woman pressed the button on her alarm bell.
Even if this was not connected to the police, but with the Red Cross: the burglar was so intimidated that he immediately gave heel money. A search was not successful, but there were already some information from the police. “Of course we chase everyone,” says the executive power. The 88-year-old survived the burglary without injuries.
