So is there really a happy ending for KTM? On Friday, May 23, the motorcycle manufacturer, which has gone bankrupt, will transfer 600 million euros to the creditors and the costs of the renovation process for the quota. Now it is on the rise who the savior is: the Indian co -owner Bajaj!
Bajaj had already transferred 50 million euros in parallel in February with the “yes” for the renovation plan – the money was used to get production going again. In the meantime, the Indian co -owner has pumped a total of 200 million euros in the motorcycle manufacturer in recent weeks, but at the end of April the production in Mattighofen (Upper Austria) has again pulled the connector. Due to too long delivery times of parts and therefore a detention material supply, the continuous work makes no sense for the time being, it is said. Motorcycle mounting must be raised again in the Innviertel in August.
