Arsenio, 46, was playing a show in the Houdini room, where he had worked not only as an illusionist but also as a waiter for 25 years, when he collapsed on stage. At first, those in attendance thought it was part of the show, but as the seconds passed without it moving, the alarms went off.
Two police officers who witnessed the show, realizing it could be a heart attack, practiced CPR techniques on him until Summa’s paramedics arrived. He was later taken to hospital on October 12, where nothing could be done for his life.
Arsenio Puro’s style was very peculiar thanks to his striking vest, his sense of humor and his catchphrase in his numbers: “You didn’t look good.”
