Murcia’s municipal theaters will reopen their doors for musical shows at Christmas. The first of the two musicals scheduled at the Romea Theater in Murcia is ‘La ratita presumida’, which is scheduled to take place from December 26 to 30 (5pm and 7:30pm). Inspired by the story of Charles Perrault, La Murga Teatro presents a new musical and very funny version of the story, with an aesthetic close to the 50s and rock and roll.
This text and direction proposal by Alfredo Ávila aims to emphasize the value of human qualities over material things. All this through the story of Ratón’s sincere and humble love for Ratita, which will be held back by her ambitions, more answered by a cat with dark intentions. And together with them Donkey and Dog will contribute to give the story more rhythm. But thanks to his friend, Peanut the mouse, little by little he will discover that what he thought was his biggest mistake is in fact a wonderful gift.
