Rapper Takeoff, a member of the Migos group, was shot dead on Tuesday at a bowling alley in Houston, Texas. According to the entertainment medium TMZ, the 28-year-old singer was at a bowling alley in the city with another member of the band, his uncle Quavo, around 2:30 a.m. local time, when Houston police were alerted by gunshots and one person killed the scene. Authorities were only able to witness the death of the rapper – whose real name was Kirshnik Khari Ball – and evacuate two other injured to hospitals.

The incident that ended with the singer’s death is a mystery. According to the authorities themselves, there was an argument that led to a fight. Someone drew a firearm, started firing and one of the bullets hit the head of the deceased.

The killers have not yet been found, nor are the reasons for the event known. Both Takeoff and Quavo had shared photos and videos at the location they frequented on their social networks.

Takeoff was considered one of the best rappers on the scene today.
