Linas Family – AKA Real Trance Family

The Lynas family of West Belfast, known to Facebook and Instagram users as the Real Trance Family, has spoken about how popular social media has been over the past six years.

The family first went viral in 2016, when James Lynas began sharing videos of himself, his wife, and children on how they interact with jingles in everyday situations.

Their videos garnered millions of views over the next several years and even featured their team up with Dutch trans legend Armand van Buuren, who traveled with them during their stay in Belfast.

For those unfamiliar with the full story of how a true trance family came to be, James said it all started with him and his brother destroying Facebook pages a few years ago.

“It was my brother and I who wore it first,” James said.

“He and some of his friends created Facebook pages, just smart pages, but they were really popular. So I got the idea.

“My brother and I posted something similar and just shared some fun videos we found. It got to the point where he didn’t want to keep making the page, but I walked out on my own.

“I had a lot of videos stored on my phone, and I was just on my way to school in the morning. A video where I wake up kids playing ecstasy music while they get ready, laughing in the car, all because of stuff.”

James, who works as a chef at Benbridge, said it started as a good way to bond with kids in the morning.

“When you cook, sometimes you don’t spend as much time with the kids as you’d like, so I thought it would be a good idea.

“Then it just kept growing and growing for the first few months. Then one day in 2016 I got an email from Armani saying he wanted to shoot a video with me. I think it was fake, to be honest, I think it was a spam email your management just sent a message and asked Any idea for a video?

James said that despite his great following, he always made the page for fun, not money.

“If I were for the money, I would advertise on my page and everything,” he said.

“I don’t spam my page unless we like it: another DJ who did something amazing or something similar. This is a page for fun.”

When asked why he thought Page was so successful, James smiled and said he still didn’t know.

“My wife and I always talk about it in bed, we don’t know, and we don’t have an answer.

“I think it’s real. We are normal people. There are no luxury cars or anything like that. We were really caught and happy we don’t post fake videos or post videos. .

There are glaring flaws in public appearances on social media, but James said the hateful comments they sometimes receive no longer bother him.

“Read comments, and yes, meet your attackers or haters, but most comment sites are just for fun. People love content and music. I understand they love watching our infectious smiles. If it makes people happy, hate is better than everyone else.”

James said he was also offered gigs and DJ slots depending on how they found the page, though he was humbled and said he wasn’t looking to turn it into a career.

“If anything comes up, that’s a bonus. The concerts and staff are great, I’ve been playing on the deck since I was a teen and it’s great to beat.”

He also said they would still meet on the street because of the mail.

“I think most people in Belfast know who we are,” he said. “People still stop and take pictures sometimes.

“We were also able to go on trips. We were lucky enough with some chances. We managed to score in Poland and then met the best trance. DJ. I played in America and I played in Birmingham because of the page. When you get to the heart of the matter.”

As he continues to work, start a family, and hold a contest, James said he looks forward to continuing to create a true trance family in the future.

People have been watching children grow up since childhood and are now entering adolescence. It’s weird because one day you were a normal person living your life, and the next day you see all these people looking at your life. Video.

“But I think it comes naturally to me now and it was basically a great time and it gave me a lot of opportunities. It was weird, but it was also the best thing that ever happened to us. It’s been an amazing five years.”
