One user replied: “Thank you to the officers who have been proactive patrols, trying to prevent crime. In these days of negative stories, this is important.”
Later speaking to GB News Breakfast, Eamonn said: “They politely explained to me that a large number of cars were close to theft I was in.
“They thought it was unusual to see a car like mine move so early in the morning, so they wanted to make sure everything was fine.
“We were able to talk to them and explain that nothing bad happened. But I am actually very grateful to the officers. They were such wonderful guys and if they were my children, I would be incredibly proud of them. It is actually very reassuring to know that the police are checking everything .”
