Photography and its counterfactuals’, by Ernst van Alphen, from the Ad Litteram collection, tries to understand photography from its differences with the reality it represents; ‘Inhabit the image. Domestic and Poetic Photography of Post-War Resistance’, by Mónica Alonso, in the Ad Hoc Collection, analyzes the daily lives of those who resisted prison or exile under the Franco regime; the third work, ‘Against the Anthropocene. Visual Culture and the Environment Today’, by TJ Demos, is an indictment of the violence of contemporary capitalism and its interests.
